Company: Martin Dockery
Show: 1 Easy Lie

Lockdown isolation has the potential to bring out the darker side of us, even Martin Dockery. I am guilty of watching many of the "true crime" streaming shows in my own lockdown leading to the questions: Is this an honest retelling of the events? Is this a confession? Or, is this person just telling us what we want to hear? You have the right to remain silent Mr. Dockery (but we know you won't).

Company: Monster Science Productions
Show: Monster Island on $20 a Day

A World Of Monsters Refresher

I've never thought about the geography of the monster stories I know, so I really appreciated this travelogue. This was perhaps Monster Science's most densely packed presentation that I've seen, laid out very logically in an around-the-globe format. Always well-researched, entertaining and funny, Rev. Matt gives you a look into locations you might be interested in visiting, whether or not your travel may result in your death. Alas, so many giant gorillas, so few vacation days.

Company: The Winding Sheet Outfit
Show: The Darger Project aka The Darger Project

Love the Insider Look At The Winding Sheet

Darger as a foil for The Winding Sheet works perfectly. It is very enjoyable and fringe-y to watch artists talk about artists and arting when they are as talented and diverse as this cast. How do you make art in isolation? Odds are, weirdly. Is it weird for The Winding Sheet Outfit to talk about themselves and the process? Yes. Are they some of my MN Fringe favorites from the last several years? Yes. So, this feels natural.

Company: The Fourth Wall
Show: Fruit Flies & Friends

Wonderful Collaboration

It's always a pleasure to hear the Fourth Wall Ensemble; mixing in Fringe friends was such a bonus. The range of the show was a nice mix of past, present, and hope for the future. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the Rovers soon.

Company: Theatre Mobile
Show: AWAY, NOW - The World's Most Desired Destination

We loved this clever, weird travelogue. Erika and Paul charmed us out of nowhere to Now, Here. Thank you.
