Interesting Journey in a Shoe Store

Interesting story. I was hoping that the conclusion was not going to be what it was, and whew, it wasn't! No one should ever be treated like that.

One of the best one man shows this year. Very sincere and heartfelt, including the dialog with Skelator.

An Experience

I felt like I was there. I felt the fear. More acting. Less movie and this would be a 5.

The Best Fun Show At Fringe!

Ok, some of you have avoided going to any sort of clowning show. This will change your mind. The most fun and energy I have experienced yet at Fringe, and I have seen over 20 shows this year. Go. See. This. You will have So. Much. Fun.! Seriously. Go!!

Company: Babe Train
Show: Pop Sensationz

The Dark Daisey's Ghostly Show

So much fun last night watching the Babes do their thing. If you have never seen musical improv, please go! Songs are performed on the spot with no prior rehearsal. That said, there was a little too much loud, belt singing as a group and not enough where they were all on the same note. When the soloists stepped forward it was total magic. I left with the songs running through my head. Super fun! Go see it!

Company: J. Jean Productions
Show: Expiration Date
Venue: HUGE

A Mother Daughter Story

This story was really , really good. The actors were fantastic! A typical Mother/Daughter tension was taken to the next level when both of them reveal guilt for something that happened in the past. One won't leave the house, one won't let anyone get near to her heart. I loved it! Please go see this hidden gem.

Company: Clevername Theatre

Creepy Improv....now that's a new one!

I absolutely loved this creepy story that I honestly couldn't believe was improv because it was so good. Not only creepy but lots of real good laughs. Talented group of people! Bravo!

Company: Christopher Kehoe
Show: Jesus Qhrist
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental

Parables for American Christians

Christopher did a fantastic job as Christ. In telling the parables in the first part he was telling us who Jesus is and what is important to him. In the second part he was showing us how far away the religious Christian right is from the actual parables and teachings of Christ. Their Christ is not who Jesus is. The religious right has hijacked Christianity and Jesus called them out on that. And they should be. Their Jesus is not the true Jesus so Fake News from them! Loved this show! Go see it!! Christopher is amazing!

Company: Gerry Shannon
Show: Hope
Venue: CFPA Flex

A story told through dance

A story of a couple and their journey through life and all the sadness and joy it brings. The dancing was wonderful and the story line easy to follow.

The Embodiment of Fringe!

I absolutely loved the quirkiness of this performance! Dance with acting and comedy...so much fun! The expressions on the face of Jesse Schmitz-Boyd were priceless and made me laugh out loud. Go see this and enjoy the weirdness of it all!

Company: The Winding Sheet Outfit
Show: Årsgång: What You Follow Follows You
Venue: Theatre in the Round

A Wonderous Journey Through The Forest

This is very important: Before seeing the show, click above on More Information and listen to the prequel. This gives you the setting for the story you are about to experience.....and an experience it is. At the theater you will be drawn into the forest setting with stillness and darkness. As the story unfolds you feel as if you are right there in Sweden with music, bells, and bird song all around you. I absolutely loved it! Standouts are Kayla Dvorak Feld in the central role of Lajla and her free spirited friend Ylvie, played by Boo Segerson. The Winding Sheet Outfit has consistently produced some of the best shows annually at The Fringe Festival. This is one of their best yet. Go and experience what I feel is probably the best show at the Fringe Festival this year!

Company: Luna Muse
Show: The Witchy World of Luna Muse
Venue: Mixed Blood Theatre

Super Fun Drag!

Luna Muse was so much fun to watch. Her costumes, humor and dancing was amazing. But the best part was when she sang . What a beautiful voice! More of this in the future please!

Company: Kyle Munshower and Company
Show: THE MAN FROM EARTH
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental

Loved This!

I was really looking forward to this show and enjoyed it so much! The acting was suburb. A fun take on the movie "The Man From Earth" which was pretty earth shattering. The acting was suburb. Just loved it all!

Company: Ava Fojtik
Show: Francis E. Fingerbowl Has Gone Missing
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental

Birthday Party!

I loved the Birthday Party idea and all the characters were wonderful! Fun comedy with maybe a message buried therein that I couldn't figure out.
