Atop the Above is a parade celebrating the sky, involving live acoustic music, community participation and large scale cloud puppets. With the understanding that we are part of the intertwining of the natural world, this is an empowerment of the effect we have upon it, and a plea to take care of what we can control. We are nature, and we deserve to celebrate to see beauty in this. Join the cloud parade!

Felicia Cooper is a puppeteer who creates arts experiences where audiences come together to ask questions. Using puppetry and parades as a disruptor of the every day, she brings to light the mundane in the form of celebration. She is an artist led by curiosity and deeply embedded in community.

In a climate of uncertainty, Sleepers are seized by nightmares. Desperate, they use the iBaku, a device named after the elephant-like chimera that devours nightmares, stranding them in a dreamless stupor. Now, the Librarian has summoned them to the Library of the Dreamless, in hopes of creating new dreams together. Dreamers, we hope you'll join us for this workshop performance of the Library of the Dreamless. Dream Eaters Collective was founded in New York city in 2014 by Narah Solorzano, Alex Young, and Shawn Chua. Drawn together by a shared fascination with puppets and dreaming, they have continued building unique performances together. Dream Eaters seeks to create experimental, immersive puppetry pieces that provide a shared dream experience for the audience. Current home base is Minneapolis.

This project is a partnership with Vibrant and Safe Downtown and the Downtown Improvement District.
