Not an inside joke
Every show has its target audience. I think it does this show wrong to say that it’s still not something that can be loved and enjoyed by everyone. It’s about teen wolf and twilight and Supernatural yes, but also about personal interest, finding comfort in fiction, and how those things can change and affect our relationships. A genuinely good show for all. Not just fans of the series. I loved it :)

Made me Care About Reagan
I really really loved it. One of the most unexpected and compelling things that art can do for me is to see the beauty in extremely flawed people and Dutch: Made in America did it with stars (And Red, White and Blue). Great theater from great people. Go see it.

Great and enjoyable theater!
Watching this at 10 PM was a trip. I was tired and honestly pretty ready to go home but the performances and the script almost FORCED me to pay attention and I found myself going “man I wish this show wasn’t so interesting so I could fall asleep in the back of the theater”. But you just had to make a great show didn’t you? You just had to keep me engaged throughout. Well fine! I’ll just give 5 kitties then how about that?!
