It’s Jesus as a fame-obsessed professional celebrity with daddy issues. The performance stays witty and engaging—fast-paced with pseudo-new-age interludes and fun pop culture allusions. Between the comedy, singing, and dancing, there are even some musings on finding “real” connections in a transactional digital world. The venue was perfect for the scope and content of the show.
