Script and Story ConsultantBrad Beckman has been brilliantly teaching, coaching, writing, directing and producing plays and films for more than 30 years. He and Joann Yarrow own an automation studio in Syracuse NY and co-own Distinctive Voices LLC based in Florida. Brad is also a VoiceOver Actor, father of two and a great cook!
Elizabeth Young-Collins
Playwright, Actor, Co-ProducerAt age 40, Elizabeth got her first professional gig in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and two years later, Left her corporate job for the electric company to keep singing professionally. At age 50 she became a Tour Director of historic tours of America, and age 60 wrote the first of what is now 7 of her own shows. The most recent is entitled A History Tour Hijacked which combines her talents of singing, historical knowledge, entertaining and acting.
Joann Yarrow
Director, Script and Story Consultant, Acting CoachJoann Yarrow directed Elizabeth in her one woman show: Betsy Show last year at Minnesota Fringe. She has more than 30 years experience as a director having worked with Hal Prince on Broadway and having traveled and published as a director, author and dramaturge worldwide. She and her husband own Distinctive Voices LLC where they help develop and direct scripts for talented writers like Elizabeth Young-Collins. :)
Daniel Collins
ActorDaniel is making his theatrical début as Jim, the Coach driver in A History Tour Hijacked. His role is easily played due to his career as Facilities Management in both Indiana (and for more than 20 years) on the east coast. Prior to moving to Indiana, Danny was a Facilities Manager in Boston MA where he lived with his wife, Elizabeth (producer of this year's show A History Tour Hijacked) for 18 years. This is his second year working with his wfe, Elizabeth at the Minnesota Fringe!! Last year's Betsy Show at Mixed Blood Theatre was so rewarding and he is proud to support his playwright/actress/singer/wife again this year!

A History Tour Hijacked ties stories of America's history with the liaison to that of France. No coincidence that the Olympics are in France at the same time Elizabeth sings French songs (La Marseilaise, par exemple) ! While this show is a comedy, it addresses the importance of living your dream. Does the protagonist (the DC tour guide) stay on the same path celebrating others' history or does she decide to make her own? Who helps "set her straight?" Audience participates along and benefits from being a fan of history! It's fun, interesting and a privilege to be working with such the great cast member, Dan Collins!
