That's what it is. If you're into that, you will be well taken care of.

Not for me, but maybe for poo?

This show is for a very specific audience, and I am not in that population. If you like poop humor, this is 100% for you. It's not nuanced; it is all about fecal matter, also with some handjobs and cocaine sprinkled in for funsies... and a lesson on corporate greed. All that being said, and for as much as I want this hour of my life back, I must admit that this was extremely well executed. The actors' commitment, talent, and writing is high-level. Somewhere in the middle I asked myself, "is that iambic pentameter?". For those reasons, they get an extra kitty.

Know What You're In For

Can't knock the vision. This group manages to put some of the silliest bottom of the floor comedy in their shows and make it work. It is not for everyone, but must review it based on the quality of it's "not for everyone" if this makes sense... It's a great show. Know you're in for a good time and certainly nothing high-brow.

A corporate health care fever dream

If you had asked, "Want to see a show with an extended opening about farting and then moving on to excrement (so much excrement), masturbation (as choreography!) and more?", I'd say, no thanks. But wow, I love these guys. Is it "TOO MUCH"? Absolutely yes, intentionally and obnoxiously so. They take an an over-the-top crass scene and extend it far beyond anyone's comfort level. But the tooting and the pooping are brilliant packaging for a searing critique of corporate healthcare driven by greed and profit. The performances are incredibly committed and all in, 1000%. This is absolutely not for everyone. If the stage activities I mentioned above offend you, this is not for you. But I will see anything these guys put up. I just don't want to know how they got the soundtrack for Rutherford B. Hayes' farting.

The excrement and the agony

This is what Fringe is all about, strange things that would never find a stage, find a a place in your fart. I give it the full 5 hundo butt butters. Ruthord B. Hayes has never tasted better.

It's still stuck in my head

The Brothers Dangus shows are ALWAYS the most memorable and always the show we talk about the longest after Fringe is over. I mean... we still quote volume 1 and 2 in our house. I laugh until I cry, I cheer, I cringe and I groan but that's what I love about the Dangus Brothers shows. The sheer volume and velocity of their shows is always impressive. I can't imagine the length of the script these guys master, and they really do master it. A wild and weird show like this is something you'd only encounter at a Fringe Festival and that's what makes us love Fringe so much. I can only hope they're back next year.

Hate Watch

I'm not saying don't see it. It's like watching a bad movie for fun. I did not see their first show, but I did see their second, and this one is very similar in that I had no idea what was going on, but I could follow enough that i was disgusted. The crude potty humor was so stupid, but at the same time it was so clever and engaging. Did I like it? No. Would I see another Dangus show? ....yes...

Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For Poo

What did I just watch? I don't know. I thought I hated it but then I loved it. This is "It's Always Sunny" meets MN Fringe. Go with an open mind. Go with an open butt. Enjoy!

Putting the "art" in "fart"

You know the best inside joke you've ever been a part of? One that's both beyond hilarious and impossible to explain. If you tried to explain it you might say, "Hold on, wait...I wish I wrote this down". Well these folks wrote it down, and they're sharing it. The content of this production is voluminous, and must have come from every aspect of their being. Their intellect, memories, fears and embarrassing experiences, all just flooding every moment of this performance. It was strangely intimate in that regard. Absolutely fantastic.
