Kara Millerhagen
writer/ co-composer/ actorKara is excited to be producing her very own musical at Mixed Blood along with Richard Farris! With a passion for writing and producing original music and musical reviews with her former trio "Sister," Kara now strikes out on her own as “Eilene Pearl,” motivational speaker extraordinaire. Kara cut her performance teeth at a young age, growing up in a performing family, but she developed her chops at Minnesota State Mankato studying theater. There she appeared in Mame, Cabaret, Nunsense, and Little Shop of Horrors to name a few. Her goal is to inspire and reflect to people their own amazing potential!
Richard Farris
co-composer/ keyboardsRichard started his career in the ‘80s playing keyboards with various pop/rock groups such as Interface, The Casablanca Orchestra, Tim Mahoney, and Sister, where he met Kara. Even though he spent hundreds of hours listening to the great bands of the ‘70s and ‘80s, Richard’s first piano teacher, his mother, Rita, is the most influential person in his musical life. Richard’s original compositions can be heard on your favorite streaming platform published under artist name: Richard Farris.
