A comedy/adventure that asks: If we really closed the borders for 20 years, what would it look like? Maybe not Mad Max, but maybe not Mayberry, either. Ruth was away at school when the borders closed, and she hasn't heard from her family since. Now, with the help of a tour guide at the Welcome Center, she ventures out into New York in the year 2040.
