Still Worth It

Not as funny as last year's show but still fairly funny.

No Bullsh*t here!!

So delighted by Pacos performance tonight!! He seemed very conversational and went with the flow of the audience. I thought most of his material was very relevant and made me squirm just enough to also be incredibly funny! Along the lines of Avenue Q for humor style.

Poor Paco!

We saw Paco last year and enjoyed his perspective and comedy. But alas, we all have 'bad days at work,' and it is usually not quite as evident as when it happens in stand up comedy. Paco certainly understood it and ended with "come back tomorrow, it will be a totally different show." No use rubbing it in more than that, although "Q" jokes tend to be behind us now, and it took me a minute to sort out what he was talking about!

Go see Paco!

He came all the way from Germany, and Australia, and Canada!, to bring an energetic, clever, and laugh-out-loud show to us. Political humor, human humor, and German humor (not an oxymoron) - we thoroughly enjoyed the show, and hope that he comes back on future Fringe seasons. If you have one show left, end on a funny note with this show, and get an ice-cream cone at Milk Jam afterwards!

Great stand up with international view

Lots of laughs and well presented, and you’ll learn about Canadians.

International Comic Relief is the Best Medicine.

Paco was so much fun last year, I returned to the new Huge venue with three friends on a rainy Monday! Laughter abounded throughout the show with digs at himself as a German and at Americans, Canadians, the British, Europeans and more. Wide range of humorous and dreadful topics that need comic relief. Thanks for including the MN Fringe in your national and international tours. See this show if possible.

A very engaging workshop

Paco is incredibly funny and endearing and you can't help but want to follow his stories, quips, and absurdities. As I saw his first show, it was a bit scattered and he clearly didn't get through his entire repertoire. It was more of a workshop than a fully fleshed out show, but that's how the Fringe is and it was a wonderful workshop to be at! Very silly, a little crude, a little political, full of fun voices and charm- overall well worth your time.

I liked his earlier, funnier ones

Paco's entry for last year was one of our favorite shows. This year, he admits it is a work in progress...and it shows. Several jokes fell flat, and while many others were incredibly hilarious, the show as a whole was quite uneven. I wish he had polished the bits more in other stand-up venues before presenting this as a fringe event, because he clearly is a comic genius, he just needs some work. There was also some technical problem with the sound, I don't know if it was the way sound worked on this particular venue's walls, or something with his mic or the way his sound was being adjusted in the control booth, or the way his particular voice interacted with the above, which made it hard to hear many crucial words and phrases. This is not solely due to his accent, because he speaks English quite well and we had no trouble understanding him in his 2023 performance at the Rarig Center.

A solid start to a WIP show!

Paco is a veteran comedian and holds himself admirably in what is the most difficult part of the profession of stand up comedy; seeing if the thing works. This show is rough, no doubts there, but has solid bones and made me laugh uncontrollably in a few places. I’d highly recommend this show if you’re keen to see a bit of solid stand up this fringe season!

my friend laughed his ass off - me, not as much

I missed his sold out show last year, so was excited to be able to catch this show. I came in with high expectations, but was put off by the constant use of the F word. I feel sorry for any Republicans who came - I had no idea that it would be so political! A lot of the audience was laughing hysterically, and I can see why he has such a following. Not really my cup of tea though.
