Molly Miller
ProducerMolly Miller (they/them) is a longtime thespian and Fringe Festival enthusiast. Molly first began performing in their early childhood in Huron, SD, with ballet and tap recitals. When they moved to MN, Molly took classes at the Rochester Civic Theatre in Rochester, MN, where they were introduced to performance and backstage theatre arts. During college, Molly established their own theatre company and, through it, has written, produced, directed, and acted in local tours of Commedia dell’Arte and other performance styles. Complementing this, Molly studied the history, psychology, and theatrical application of masked performance at Augsburg University and received an URGO award for their research in Commedia dell’Arte. After graduating with a Bachelor in Arts, Molly spent 7 years in NYC where they acted, wrote, costumed, and managed stage for a variety of theatrical productions, including the internationally acclaimed immersive show Sleep No More. In 2019, Molly moved back to Minnesota to study Performing Arts Leadership and Management in hopes to further expand their theatre company, Shards, and establish it as a nonprofit. Molly has produced, stage managed, house managed, and ran box office for the MN Fringe over the years, as well as participating as a patron. Molly is excited to return to the Fringe as a producer and be a part of this fantastic show! Happy fringing!
