Cast and Crew
Sarah McCabe
AmySarah McCabe is thrilled to be co-creating her first ever Fringe show with some seriously hilarious friends. Sarah has a B.A. in Theater and Music from North Park University and spent a handful of years teaching music classes to little ones with Music Together. Sarah has acted at Theatre in the Round, Tin Fish Theater in Chicago, and most recently took part in Chain Reaction Theatre Project’s Climate Change Theatre Action One Acts this past fall. Shout out to James and Mim for their enthusiastic support, and to Lottie for their creative contribution to lyrics.
Kris Causton
KatieKris loves any opportunity to speak into a microphone and to make people laugh. Her specialty is writing and starring in sketch comedies and being the only cast member who can’t remember any of her lines. Kris’ local theater credits include the role of “tallest ensemble member” which she reprised in multiple musical productions with Chaska Valley Family Theater. Delighted is the word she uses to talk about her first Fringe opportunity and being part of this hilarious team. Kris is thankful to her husband and dancing daughters for always being along for the ride!
Heidi Housh
JenniHeidi doesn't think she has laughed as hard as she has these past months when creating and eating snacks (we like snacks) with Sarah, Heidi, and Kris for her first Fringe experience. She started in theater "back in the day" and has dabbled in various sketch comedies around the Twin Cities since. She enjoys doing voice over work and audiobook narration in addition to her day job in education. She most recently received an Audio Book Reviewer's Choice Award for her co-narration in Skull's Vengeance (Book 4 Curse of Clansmen and Kings) and a 2024 gold medal Ben Franklin Award from the Independent Book Publisher's Association for her narration of Magda Standing. She is thankful for her husband, lovely daughters, and her extended family and friends, who encourage and cheer on her creative pursuits. Speaking of, she and the cast thank her parents for their involvement in Last Pitch Effort. Thanks to her dad, Jim Pearson, for his fabulous voice as the announcer, and her mom, Jan Pearson, for posing as the infamous Ms. Sharp.
Heidi Tungseth
BarbHeidi trained at the Groundlings School of Comedy Improv in Los Angeles and co-created the award-winning 2014 Hollywood Fringe Opera Sitcom “Belli Gemelli.” She studied visual art at MCAD and has trained in puppetry at Sandglass Theater in VT and at the Eugene O’Neill Puppetry conference in CT. Her freelance years in LA spanned commercial and film acting, art department and prop fabrication for film, creating original puppetry acts and short films and producing a live sketch comedy show. This is her first MN Fringe Fest and she is thrilled to be collaborating with these lovely goofs!
