Safeguard the Fringe
To defy the exclusionary practices of cultural gatekeepers so we can serve both citizen and seasoned artists, Minnesota Fringe provides a host of support to festival participants. We equip producers with genuine theater spaces, professional technical and front-of-house staff, as well as customized workshops covering topics such as fundraising, budgeting, marketing, and technical training to further support the sustainability of artistic careers within, and beyond, our platforms. Minnesota Fringe’s investments cost more than $35 per patron* to present and constitute the market value of a ticket in 2026.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to ensure economic accessibility through low ticket prices and lean producer fees, but we need your help to safeguard a future festival that belongs to everyone without increasing ticket prices or producer fees to cover our ever-rising costs.
Minnesota Fringe Festival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donations to the Fringe are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
