Cast and Crew
Rebecca Wickert
Creator/Director
Rebecca (she/her) is a Twin Cities creator, director, and performing artist and holds a BA in Theater Arts, Performance Creation, from the University of Minnesota. As a theater artist, she is passionate about creating generative work in collaboration with other upcoming generation theater makers. This is Rebecca’s third year producing and directing for Minnesota Fringe ("BRUTUS" 2023, "The Killing of Eve" 2022) and is thrilled to make her directorial debut at KC Fringe and IndyFringe! Other favorite directing credits include "The Seagull" under Craig Johnson at Theatre in the Round and Silent Sky under Kym Longhi at the University of Minnesota.
Marguerite Arbogast
Playwright
Marguerite (she/her) is a Minneapolis-based actor and playwright. She is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota BA program. She was mostly recently seen in "Men on Boats" with Theatre in the Round Players, and her writing has been seen at one-act festivals including What She Said Fest with Duluth Playhouse. She'll be on stage next in "The Importance of Being Earnest" with Long Lake Theater. Favorite previous roles include Sophie in "Mamma Mia!", "Olivia" in Twelfth Night, and Bessie in "The Drowning Girls".
Evelyn Kelly
Stage Manager
Evelyn (she/her) is a third-year tech and design student at the University of Minnesota and is excited to return to Fringe for the second year in a row as stage manager ("BRUTUS" 2023 Minnesota Fringe)! She thanks the Fringe festival for this new opportunity and for everyone for their support!
Hannah May
Leah Fox
Hannah (she/her) is thrilled to participate in her first Fringe Festival as well as her first touring production. She recently made her professional acting debut with Threshold Theater Company in their 4Play series in Minneapolis, MN. When she’s not on stage, Hannah works as a server at Yard House in St. Louis Park, MN and an independent digital artist. Her body of visual artwork can be found at hannah_may.artstation.com. She wants to thank her family and friends for their endless support of her passions.
Mallory Lewis
Maggie Fox
Mallory (they/ them) is a classically trained actor with a BS in Theatre and Drama - Acting Specialist Degree from UW Madison. Additionally, they have trained privately under the tutelage of a member of the Minnesota Opera for four years. Their recent works include "The Girl Who Swallowed a Cactus" (Dust Cloud), "The Giver" (Mother), "Much Ado About Nothing" (Margaret), and "Henry IV (Part 2)" (York). They also performed in two shows in the 2023 MN Fringe Festival: "Extreme Roadshow" (Tiffany) and "The Definition of Loss" (Mother). Mallory feels honored to be a part of the cast "Seance Sisters", with such a talented and passionate ensemble! When they are not on stage, they are probably working with their students, playing with their two cats, or up to something witchy.
Sophia White
Kate Fox
Sophia (she/her) is currently studying to receive her BFA in acting at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She has had the opportunity to act in several productions at the University of Minnesota, such as "A Lie of the Mind" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Sophia got her start in acting at the age of 8 years old at Trilogy Cultural Arts Center in Olathe, Kansas. She is very grateful to get to perform in the Kansas City Fringe Festival as a part of the "Seance Sisters" tour after a long absence from the Kansas City theater community. She is excited to perform at the Minnesota Fringe Festival IndyFringe for the first time as well! Finally, Sophia would like to thank Rebecca Wickert, Evelyn Kelly, and all the others who made this production possible.
