Cast and Crew
Scot Froelich
Writer, Performer

2026 marks Scot’s 25th Minnesota Fringe as either performer, playwright, producer, designer, or audience. He has produced three other solo shows – Men Will Be Boys in 2013, Break Your Heart in 2016, and Aging In An Age of Change in 2023 – as well as the A Man’s Guide discussion panel series in 2019. His solo work has been seen here in Minnesota, New York, Chicago, and St. Louis. As a performer, Scot has worked with Freshwater Theatre, Theatre In the Round, Nimbus, and many others. As a designer, he’s created sound for enough Fringe and non-Fringe productions that he no longer has the list, just a lot of WAV files floating around. He is also a published author and lover of original and unique storytelling. In recent years, Scot’s focus has shifted to production and music work, from the YouTube series Singin’ With Scot to being the Managing Director at Broken Wing Productions, a mentorship-based theatre company he runs with his amazing wife, Sheree.

Mike Mellas
Director

Mike is a director, dramaturg, and theatre educator living in the Twin Cities. This is Mike's second time working for 1T Productions, previously directing the 2023 Fringe show Aging in an Age of Change. Mike is co-Artistic Director for Gnarly Bard Theatre, located in St. Cloud. For Gnarly Bard, he's directed or co-directed eight shows, most recently Lauren Gunderson's The Revolutionists, and he'll be directing two shows in their upcoming season: Craig Wright's The Unseen, and the original sci-fi musical Escape Pod Echo. As a researcher and scholar, Mike's work focuses on community-based theatre, theatre for social change, and theatre pedagogy. Mike has taught at the University of Minnesota, Gustavus Adolphus College, NC State University, and Miami University of Ohio. When not making theatre, Mike runs a community-based arts nonprofit in the Twin Cities suburbs.

Sheree Froelich
Stage Manager, Props, Set

Sheree Froelich has performed with many theater companies in Minnesota including Wonderlust Productions, Freshwater Theatre, Jezebel Productions, Northern Starz, Theatre Unbound, Paper Soul, and has been a returning guest on Nichole Carey's Christmas Cabaret. Sheree wrote and performed in Broken Wing Productions The Wind Phone in 2024 and My Empty Arms, Minnesota Fringe Festival's golden Lanyard winner for Audience Pick, 2022. She is a company member at Freshwater Theater, founder of Broken Wing Productions, and board member at Darlings Arts. In her free time Sheree loves hiking, gardening, listening to her husband play guitar and is a huge fan of Elevenses (PO-TA-TOES). This is her first time stage managing in the MN Fringe. But she’s an expert at telling Scot what to do since 2018.

Nicole Wilder

Nicole Wilder earned her MA in Theater with a concentration in Directing from Miami University in 2008, and she's been arting it up in the Twin Cities ever since. Besides providing musical direction for this show, she's also creating a little prop magic for Fighting Unicorns over at Phoenix Theater. This summer, you can catch her singing with Power of 10 all over the metro. In the fall, she's directing Anthropology by Lauren Gunderson for Gnarly Bard Theater in St. Cloud.

Hannah Boehme

More Information

We've all contermplated questions like, "What's your desert island playlist?" or "If you only had one day to live, what would you do?" and considered the decisions around finality and isolation. Luckily for Jeff, he doesn't have to think of answers. He's had twelve years to live them. There's a meticulous garden, a glorious solar array, the world's most magnificent vinyl collection, and a wide variety of canine companions.

As time stretched on, though, he had to find a true hobby. A way to express himself. Enter: YOU. Thank you for being Jeff's imaginary audience. The solar generator only has enough juice for 60 minutes of performance, though, so make sure to get there early.
