The laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers - regardless of whether or not they are family.
Theory of Relativity is a contemporary dance show that explores the science of our daily routine and relationships as we seek to identify our personal space-time continuums. Full of unique, light-hearted, and complex work that doesn't take itself too seriously, we explore personal connections through the scientific lens of physics - using mass, gravity, light, energy and weightlessness to remind us of the shared human experience.
Theory of Relativity is a show created, choreographed, and produced by Mike Ford and Megan Beseth and features a cast of Chicago-based artists who assisted in developing the work and giving it a soul. Mr. Ford is a native of Minnesota and has benefitted from the skills and training he received in Minnesota's thriving art scene. Ms. Beseth has presented dance in a variety of Fringe Festivals throughout the country, including works in the 2012 and 2014 Minnesota Fringe Festivals.
