The Buttslasher was a neo-noir parody based on frightful true events. The Buttslasher: And Then There Were Buns continues the adventures of the hapless Detective Heck Bills, and a Buttslasher once again threatens the streets of Stillwater, Minnesota.
The Buttslasher: And Then There Were Buns is a standalone sequel. While fans of the original will enjoy the occasional throwback, newcomers to the franchise shouldn’t feel lost. The characters and plot are self-contained.
Also, while we are seeking to recapture the hilariously serious tone of the original, And Then There Were Buns will have a new feel to it. This one features seven strangers trapped in a mysterious mansion, and hearkens back to classic, Agatha Christie- style mystery stories. The titular villain also proves to be far more sinister than the original, as revealed by a late-game twist.
The Buttslasher: And Then There Were Buns promises thrills, chills, mystery, and butt puns. It will be a wild rump of a good time.
