As a first-time producer of anything ever, I am so excited to be in the Minnesota Fringe Festival to present "Sandcastles", a solo play that I wrote to talk about my move across the country, my personal struggle with depression, and about trying to find the right person to spend the rest of my life with.
I have always wanted to produce a show in the Fringe Festival ever since I first heard about it, so I hope that you enjoy the crap out of it.
What this show is: non-fiction, long-form story telling, content about mental illness and depression, solo performance, some drama, some comedy, low budget
What this show is not: an ensemble piece, suspenseful, deeply plot-driven, high concept.
