Don't miss the best Fringe Festival project scrum of 2019! Check out The Big Release, an unsparing satire of corporate culture and a bawdy, tender exploration of a Minnesota couple living and working together.
The Scrum Master (Al Fiene) arrives at Squiffy Software to lead a project to success using Agile methdology. He's also Paige's (Maretta Zilic) last hope for career advancement, but instead of progress, she discovers that even the most dedicated practitioner of Agile is no match for Squiffy's CEO, Marina (Kendall Kent), who advises Paige during an impromptu yoga session that the "wise Dan D. Lyon...dandelion, the flower...tells us this wisdom: nothing lasts long. Everything changes. You must share your seeds." Will Paige's career survive this Agile project?
Meanwhile, at home, her husband Bob's (Glen Stone in a reprisal role) best friend Harold (Ty Richardson) arrives for a weekend of Dungeons and Dragons. Things quickly get worse for Paige when she discovers just how far apart she and Bob are in terms of career ambition. Harold, who shows up because he is "summoned, like Mary Poppins, to lives that require a spoonful of sugar," ends up bringing more chaos than sweetness and manages to crash Bob's work and home life.
Don't miss out on the chaos that even the most detailed "to do" list can't put in order! Please check out our website at The Big Release and don't be late for the scrum!
