2025 Fringe BIPOC Lottery Application

Applications to the 32nd Annual Minnesota Fringe Festival 
will close at 11:59 pm (CST) on February 15, 2025.

IMPORTANT: This is the BIPOC Lottery Application. Productions in this lottery must include a member of the BIPOC community (Black, Brown, Indigenous, and other persons of color) in the role of producer, writer, director, or choreographer. If you are unsure of whether you qualify for this lottery, please refer back to the Lottery Application Information page for more details.

BEFORE YOU APPLY - Please be sure to read the Application Information page with all the latest updates and changes to Festival policies. We strongly suggest filling out the application on a desktop or laptop rather than on a mobile device.

IMPORTANT: Minnesota Fringe Festival Application Guidelines 
If you ("Company") are selected to participate in the 2025 Minnesota Fringe Festival ("Fringe"), this application will be considered a signed performance agreement between the Company and Fringe. By submitting this application the Company acknowledges and agrees to abide by the rules and regulations contained herein, as well as the rules and regulations of Fringe. The Company may withdraw from the festival with a full refund of producing fees until 5pm CST on March 21, 2025. Withdrawals are accepted only from the Primary Contact specified in this agreement and only in writing. Should the Company withdraw after the date specified, the Company will forfeit its producer fee. The Company agrees to adhere to the laws of Minnesota, the ordinances of the City in which its performances are presented, and the policies and procedures of the Fringe. The Company accepts all responsibility for adhering to all applicable union, copyright, and immigration regulations, and agrees to acquire any necessary city or state permits. Fringe reserves the right to remove the Company from festival participation if it is in violation of any terms of this agreement, resulting in the cancellation of any and all of the Company's performances at the festival and the Company's forfeiture of all fees and box office payout. All applicants will be added to the Fringe File newsletter list.

Join us for the lottery on February 24, 2025, to see who will be selected to perform in the Festival. Performance schedules will be live on our website in July.

However, you may only apply once per tier (bronze, silver, or gold) across all lotteries, unless you are also applying for the Midwest Touring Trifecta or Border Buddies. Duplicate applications for the same producer/company within the same tier may be rejected without refund.

Applications to the BIPOC Lottery are pay-what-you-can. If a standard application fee is a barrier, select Free Payment in the Payment Type field below and type "0" (zero) in the Amount field. You may also select Credit Card in the Payment Type field and enter a whole dollar amount that makes the most sense for you.
Enter desired payment amount in the field below, in whole dollar increments with no decimals or dollar signs (i.e. 5, 15, 30). The standard application fee is $35/tier or $90 for all three tiers.
For Credit Card Payments, the expiration date MUST be formatted MM/YYYY (exmaple: 08/2025)
