A Play about Bread...and Climate Change?
This is a performance you will remember! There are moments of thoughtfulness, complexity and humor. The recipe for bread is the entrance into the play and is accessible and familiar. Where it takes us is on a journey filled with delight and twists! Rosa and Mad treat us to their intellectual and pensive musings of their view on the world in 2023 within an absurdist context! They have many creative talents apparent in the lines, set and physicality of the production. Their warmth came across and their humane concern for this earth. In the end we are treated to warm bread! **An extra important piece of this show is the program!! Rolled up inside this well constructed program are several provocative questions that are answered during the show via recordings by: The Bread Man and the (Re)search Enthusiast . The Cast requests that we answer them as well with directions included!
