A mix!
Not at all what I expected and that is a wonderful thing! Interesting concepts, excellent performances, humorous and pointed (sometimes at the same time) writing. Plus treats for those familiar with the history of performing and with Shakespeare. Would love to see what this becomes if the creators continue any of these stories.

Class conscious comedy
Stunning vocals, hilarious framing devices and characters , a reminder that serfdom survival has lessons for us in similar times. The comedic timing is especially impressive. Would love to see more through-line (in a longer version) but still emotionally invested. May we all have apothecary pals to depend on!

What a fun ride, and with Yiddish too! This is a warm slice of life that feels true and invites us to peer in. It felt like a blessing to those resisting institutional proposals that perpetuate community harm and struggle.
