LOVE THIS KIND OF HUMOR
Okay, so I'm a Swiftie, but even if I wasn't, I would love this show. So many laugh out loud moments from this talented crew. Spoofs of fandom, Scooter Braun, Champagne Problems, and more! My favorite was the Grandpa sketch at the end. Go see this talented crew, or if you missed it, hopefully you can catch on the Fringe Hangover.

Engaging, interesting storytelling
I loved this show! It was so engaging, and the artist's style was so compelling. A great combination of a well-conceived an executed personal history, as well as a glimpse into a culture and family life. If you see this, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. If you missed it, definitely tune in if it is available via the Fringe Hangover.

I wish I was intelligent, creative and talented enough to have conceived and executed this show. Luckily, Linnea Bond is and DID! DO NOT MISS!

Just brilliant!
True artistry here. Likely the most unique show I will see at this or any fringe. Deep and funny and amazing.

Storytelling at its finest! Not to be missed!
This was a beautifully written and told story of a man from small town origins and his relationship with his parents -- in particular, his father, whom he suspects of sharing his sexual identity and alcoholism. Simply told with aplomb, put this show on your must see list!
Company: The World Crime League
Show: We Were Only Henchmen
Venue: Open Eye Theatre
Extremely well-done show! Don't miss this one!
Smartly written with exceptional acting and directing, this is a perfect fringe show (especially for those who love the superhero genre). The director makes the most of the small space with efficient blocking, and the actors deliver with precise physical comedy skills. This play may not be life-changing, but you will admire its execution and have a bunch of laughs.

Show: The Princess Strikes Back: One Woman's Search for the Space Cowboy of her Dreams
Venue: Open Eye Theatre
Hilarious and vulnerable
The audience was in stitches over this honest account of a Chicago actor navigating life and love -- according to Star Wars. Relatable and funny.
Company: Jason Schommer
Show: A Material Boy Living In A Madonna World!
Venue: Strike Theater
Hilarious and nostalgic
This was a delightful show - a trip back in time through the 80s, as the audience relives highlights and parallels from the playwright's life and that of Madonnas. Jason Schommer is hilarious and extremely likable. Don't miss this one!
