Luke Tourville
BobbyLuke is thrilled to be part of We Were Only Henchmen with World Crime League in his second production at the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Luke studied Theatre at Drake University, where he received a BFA. Classically trained, he has played roles from Shakespeare to Chekov, and further enjoys collaborating with local filmmakers on indie projects and regional festivals. He would like to thank his wife Amanda and son Leo for always supporting his passions.
Emma Kessler
DeliaEmma is thrilled to make her MN Fringe debut! Emma studied Theatre Arts at the University of Minnesota, where she graduated in 2021. Since then she has worn many hats as an actress, playwright, and director in various productions in and around the Twin Cities. More information on her work can be found at emmakkessler.com. Glen L. Dawson
Captain SuperiorMaking his triumphant return to the Fringe Festival stage, Glen L. Dawson is a Minnesota native and former resident of Steven's Square in Minneapolis. He has appeared in five previous Fringe shows, as well as numerous productions for local theater around the metro. In his free time, Glen enjoys reading, dancing, and dazzling people with his inane animal fun facts. For instance, did you know that cats have convex eyes? If you see him around, he'll tell you how they work!
Harry Lantto
LennyHarry Lantto loves returning to the Fringe Festival after a theater hiatus due to COVID. You may have last seen him in The Buttslasher series or in the audience at one of these creative, local shows. Harry has the benefit of having many wonderful friends onstage and offstage across Minnesota and is excited to see who he works with next! Happy Fringe!
Andy Rakerd
Co-DirectorAndy Rakerd is a Minneapolis-based actor, playwright, and director. At the Minnesota Fringe Festival, he was previously the co-director of Uncle Walt, and the producer of Peace Retreat, The Buttslasher, Love and Persuasion, and more. Most of his theatrical energy goes toward directing for Blaine High School Theatre, and he can regularly be seen as an actor for The Murder Mystery Company. He would like to thank his friends, family, and his wife Cayla for their undying support.
Mason Tyer
Violence DirectorMason Tyer is a director, violence director, intimacy director, and production manager living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a Certified Teacher, Theatrical Firearms Safety Instructor, and the Secretary for the Society of American Fight Directors. Mason is a lead teaching artist for Children's Theatre Company and taught stage combat for The Guthrie, North Hennepin Community College, Art in Arms, Youth Performance Company, Bemidji Community Theatre and Open Gate Movement Arts. As a violence director, he has worked with Children's Theatre Company, Duluth Playhouse, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Theatre in the Round, Full Circle Theatre Company, Journey North Opera Company, GREAT, Open Window Theatre, Children's Performing Arts, Lakeshore Players, and numerous high schools and community theatres. Andrew Rosdail
Playwright/Producer/Co-DirectorAndrew Rosdail is a local actor, playwright, filmmaker, occasional director, and founder of the World Crime League. As an actor, he most recently appeared in Phantom Chorus's Jabberwock this past winter. Andrew wrote and co-directed last year's WCL Fringe production of Uncle Walt. He also directed the Golden-Lanyard winning Peace Retreat in 2022 with New Endeavors Productions as well as Writer's Block. in 2016. Andrew recently completed the World Crime League's first short film, Christmas Feast, which is currently being submitted to various film festivals.
Leo Green
Costumer (Captain Superior)Leo Green is a Minnesota actor, musician, and costumer, currently studying Theatre Arts at MNSU Mankato. As a recent graduate of Blaine High School, he is eager to show what he can do anywhere that he can!
Randall I Dowers
HenchSpokesman/ConsultantRandall is absolutely over the moon to be making his Minnesota Fringe Festival debut. Randall was first bitten by the acting bug at the age of 18 when he was caught stealing hubcaps in the high school parking lot and lied his way out of being arrested. Prior to acting, Randall did some modeling work, primarily in suspect line-ups. He does not have much of an acting resume, though he has played Billy Crocker in a local theatre's production of Anything Goes. He apologizes in advance to any audience members who might loose their valuables during the duration of We Were Only Henchmen.
More Information
The World Crime League returns for their fifth show (third show for the Minnesota Fringe). The World Crime League is Andrew Rosdail's production brand, located in the Twin Cities and specializing in dark comedy, horror, and thrillers. Previous productions include Writer's Block. (2016 Minnesota Fringe), The Dead of Winter Double Feature, The World Crime League's F**ked-Up X-Mas Special, and Uncle Walt (2023 Minnesota Fringe). The World Crime League also hopes to dabble more into film, having shot their first short film earlier this year. Christmas Feast is currently being submitted to festivals.
A version of We Were Only Henchmen was fiirst produced in 2015 by Pink Banana Theatre in Milwaukee, directed by Tessara Layne Farley.
