Press:

"If Amy Sedaris and Jane Lynch had a baby who became the world's most intense timeshare salesperson, they still probably wouldn't be half as arresting as Linnea Bond in Heart Ripped Out Twice And So Can You, where she manages to transform some of the most painful medical trauma imaginable into an achingly funny plea for existence."

-Seth Kubersky, Orlando Weekly

"“Heart Ripped Out Twice and So Can You” might be the perfect Fringe show. It’s funny, engaging, and tells a compelling story. The performance is stellar, and it has an important message. And because Linnea Bond is such a compelling actor, it never feels like a sermon; it’s, in fact, a change-motivating piece that audiences will remember for a very long time.

This is a brilliant script and a stunning piece of performance art. “Heart Ripped Out Twice and So Can You!” is definitely a must-see."

-Kirk Sheppard, the Sappy Critic (Cincinnati)

"Humor offers a release, and time and effort can transform pain into art and laughter. Heart Ripped Out is the triumphant result of this alchemy. Bond pairs gallows humor with creative storytelling....sharly observed writing... [W]itty and moving."

- Melissa Strong, Broad Street Review (Philadelphia)
