Rough, but great potential

Establishing a surreal sci-fi setting in a one-act play is a tall order, but I think they pulled it off well. Ultimately though, I found the side characters much more intriguing than the main duo, and I wish they had more stage time. The elements are there, but they seemed poorly utilized to me.

Intruiging setup, great acting

A fun plot interspersed with poetic little vignettes, it's consistently entertaining. The actors were great, and the characterization was spot on from minute one. I just found myself wishing they'd leaned harder in one of those directions--either invest more heavily in the plot and character development, or make it even more surreal and bonkers.

Incredible storyteller, mixed bag of stories

First story had me on the edge of my seat, second story went off on a tangent (in my opinion) about losing dignity in old age, and third story seemed to drag. None of these were bad per se, but the dramatic mood shift in the middle followed by a much longer, sort of repetitive story was an odd choice.

Incredible as usual!

I'm a huge fan of this group's improv. I loved their last 2 Fringe shows and this one did not disappoint. My cheeks hurt by the end from the constant laughter. The cast is so quick on their feet and conjure some delightfully strange characters.

I would watch this reality show irl

Very funny, and just structured enough to keep a semblance of plot without being constricting. Excellent premise, I especially loved the 'confessional' scenes. I know any improv troupe is going to have character breaks and uncontrolled laughs, but it seemed excessive in my opinion. The show was at its peak when the conceit was taken seriously. also not to be that guy but the "lesbian = pussy" jokes rub me the wrong way (esp when they're fundraising for a trans-centric cause?)

Great, but room for more

Snappy dialogue, superb body language, the actors really killed it with this one. The story itself felt like it was slow going. It took a while to get to the 'meat' of it, and didn't make as much use of the demon as I would've liked. Best sentient carpet i've ever seen though
