Wonderful even if you know nothing about the book!
Loved the comedy, the dancing, the Kate Bush! I could watch Andrew dance to Nicole’s singing for a full hour.

I laughed! & some thoughts I hope are constructive
I liked so much about this show! Charlene/the goose and Chad Michael were absolute standouts. I found it disappointing to see/hear audience members laugh at Barb before she even said a word— whatever the intentions were of the creators, it gave the audience an open opportunity to laugh at the idea of “a man dressed like a woman!” Not to be all “in this political climate~” but literally. In this climate, I’m not sure a male actor with he/him pronouns playing a woman for laughs is the best look. I have the highest hopes that MA’s intentions were pure— but for me, it should’ve been made more clear what the actual joke WAS, if it was not supposed to be “haha man in a dress.” To end on a nicer note: I thought he was great as the archangel Michael.
