Incredibly important messaging baked in

I most definitely did not go into this show expecting it to hit as close to home as it did despite hearing what it was really about beforehand. The sociopolitical elements that were addressed throughout are ones that I find to be echoed often in my circles, but are still met with little meaningful action in response from intended listeners. Still, seeing them brought to literal front and center stage was so very refreshing and I'm extremely grateful that there's still people who're willing to craft stories with important (and currently relevant) topics of social awareness like these in mind.
