Delightful ambiguity

I was drawn to the show's stark visuals and meager description, and came in with the expectation of something meaningfully darker than the majority of this show turned out to be. There certainly is an element of darkness, and a reflection on of the trauma of assault; but Someone Always Pays spends the majority of its time exploring the regular, everyday disappointments of relationships and the ways they contrast with our expectations of what a relationship will be. I feel like any further exhortation on the virtues of this play would spoil the experience of watching it, so I'll leave it there. Very worth seeing, grab a ticket!
