Hilarious
Saw this on opening night because I knew it’d be a banger. I win! Sean and Michael have been performing together for years, and you can see it in their mutual trust and comfort with each other (even when playing conflict). It’s a joy to see them improvise both a “play” and a show about the rehearsal of the play at the same time. And “guest director” Shanan Custer brought it to the next level with every little and big reaction, every praise-masked poke and prod at the “actors’” insecurities. I loved this show, and I’m excited to see what different guests do with it!
