An excellent adaptation

Don't worry folks, there's no Chris Pratt in this charming production, which straddles the line between send-up of and loving homage to the 1993 live-action film adaptation of the Super Mario video game series. The cast is excellent, the story is fun and funny, and the musical numbers are lovely. It was difficult to hear the singers in a couple of moments and some of the references might sail over unaware ears, but if you enjoy musicals, comedies, the Super Mario video games series, or adaptations of media from your childhood, you should absolutely take the green warp-pipe trip into the magical world of "It's-A Me, A Musical".
