Cast and Crew
Cherelle-Renée Childs
Composer, Playwright, Emlass
Cherelle-Renée Childs is thrilled to be returning to the Fringe in her seventh show as a performer and first show as a show creator. Past Fringe credits include We Are the Sea (2022), Last Summer's Love (2021), and Best Friend for Hire (2019). Cherelle has also acted with Out of the Mists Celtic Theatre, Stillwater Zephyr Theatre (where she met castmate Michael Quadrozzi), Asylum Theatre, and the Phoenix Theater and can often be seen performing at The Abandoned Hayride during Halloween season. Cherelle is a lifelong musician and has a degree in music from North Dakota State University. She sings with the Minnesota Chorale and the Elizabethan Syngers and records with her concept album project Legend's Ghost, whose most recent single, The Raven, features castmate Elliott Heerman as the narrator.
Elliott Heerman
Adran
Elliott A. Heerman is a performer, musician and recent graduate from Metropolitan State University with a degree in Theater. He is the co-creator of W.A.R Theater company and performs regularly in the bands Black Wine, Trading Faces, and If Eye May. Elliott appeared in the 2016 MN Fringe Festival in W.A.R Theater’s production of Letters and recently in Metropolitan State University’s Acts of Love. Find him and Cherelle at The Abandoned Hayride at Screamtown in Chaska this October! To view his portfolio visit www.elliottheerman.com and thank you for attending Encountering The Mysterious!
Michael Quadrozzi
The Storyteller
Michael is delighted to be part of his very first Minnesota Fringe Festival production. You might have seen him recently in “Our Town” with Lyric Arts in Anoka, or at the historic James J. Hill House in Wayward Theatre’s spooky “Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story.” He has appeared in outdoor summer productions with the Zephyr Theatre in Stillwater as a succession of Shakespearean fools like Dogberry (Much Ado about Nothing), Touchstone (As You Like It), and Dromio (The Comedy of Errors). He has acted onstage since 2004 with companies including Yellow Tree Theatre, Theatre Pro Rata, BARd Shakes, Wonderlust Productions, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Fortune’s Fool Theatre, National Theatre for Children, New Arab American Theater, Theatre in the Round, Lakeshore Players, and Lazy Susan Dinner Theatre. A full-time freelance actor, he also helps train first responders with mental health crisis intervention training scenarios. He originally hails from Massachusetts.
More Information

Run time is about 70 minutes!

About the age rating:

There is no violence, sexual situations, nudity, or profanity (at least not the sort you would find on 21st century Earth). There is music, movement, and fun costumes that may appeal to younger audiences. While the plot may be a bit over a younger child's head, I don't think there's anything that I would consider definitely inappropriate for children.

However, I would advise that parents use their discretion. This is a play about an apocalypse  of sorts, and there are scenes that deal with impending doom and discussions of death and loss, as well as a portrayal of a fictional natural disaster.
