Impossible Salt presents The Member of Some Gods, an original, devised site-specific, traveling production that will surprise, amuse, and resonate with anyone aching from the strife caused by our deeply divided society. The Member of Some Gods explores the pain of human disconnection and the power of unity, inspired by the ancient mythology of the Egyptian Book of the Dead.With Egyptian folk music and original music composed by Joshua Weinberg, performed by Weinberg on harp and flute, violinist Frances Olson, and percussionist Nick Omeish. Featuring IS ensemble members Parker Genné, Sean Hansberry, Amber Lee Olivier and Gregory Parks. Directed by Emilia Seay Allen and designed by Ashley Burdash. Arabic music, language, & cultural instruction by Nick Omeish. Created by the ensemble.

The show begins in the back of the Casket Arts building by the sculpture garden. Lot, street, and bike parking are available.Audience is limited to 36, so reserve your tickets!
