As a child my great-aunt told me Baba Yaga stories learned from her ancestors, and I was captivated and terrified. Becoming Baba Yaga explores the connections between stories, intergenerational trauma, magic, and what it means to fully embrace self. Personal narrative is woven into a traditional Baba Yaga tale, and the Witch of the Woods has a thing or two to say herself. Written and performed by award-winning storyteller Laura Packer.
