No faults in these stars
BRUTUS is a testament to the power of ensemble trust and collaboration. In their uplifting of each other (physically and emotionally), they offer new takes on the downfalls of our favorite Shakespearean characters. Incorporating new emotive text and beautifully-executed serpentine choreography by Nakeema King, they hone in on the cyclical consequences of greed. Each cast member is given their moment to shine, and Amber Frederick masterfully delivers a complex Cassius, hungry for power and longing for love. I was thrown back in my seat, gasping for air at several points during the show!
