Skillful improv combined with Trekker nerdiness
It was amazing to watch the cast throw out random plot twists and then draw it all back together at the top of the hour. The difficulty was coming up with the on-the-spot fictional science to explain the plot devices. But we hard core Star Trek fans appreciate creative science. And a good laugh at nerdy sci-fi, and this cast gave us plenty of that!

Wonderful cast chemistry!
This is an entertaining story with sweet little musical interludes, but the outstanding feature of the show is the chemistry between Eugene and Pearl. It's also great to see the authenticity of senior actors playing senior characters on-stage. It's a little hard to understand the lines when they are so excited that they talk over each other, but it sure seemed realistic!
