Honoring the Work!
As a newer director, I loved getting to see another director's process and advice. Attending the Shakespeare night felt especially rewarding, since there are some Shakespeare-specific tactics to explore. It was very satisfying to see the initial read-through versus the "final" product!

Immense Potential
I loved the development of the relationships between the siblings. They were able to pack a lot into the hour, and the dynamics were very clear and felt authentic. Obviously every new work is going to have some areas of growth, and for me the biggest one is needing to "show instead of tell" more. Certain exchanges felt a little too on the nose, and I hope this show gets developed further so we can see more of that subtlety built in!

Cute but Confused
I liked the development of the characters and the insight we get into Davie's inner world. I thought the ending was a bit confusing and left being not quite sure what had happened.

Great concept, stiff execution
The themes explored in this one-act are very moving and I liked the split staging and memory flashbacks. I did think all of the actors struggled with stiff line delivery, which was difficult for me to ignore.
