A Show Full Of Stars
Your Hello To My Goodbye perfectly contrasts the introspective moments we spend with ourselves and who we are to the people closest to us. Pushing past who we're told that we need to be to get to who we are can feel isolating, but it's a journey we don't have to make alone. I love that each character had room to be a real person, and that the dialogue was grounded in each actor's voice. The show's compelling writing and storytelling were brought to life through both the performance and the energy radiating from the audience. Closing night left me with a smile I couldn't shake and an excitement to see what comes next from Cornucopia Productions.

The Man Who Tattooed Me Through Tears
I have never had a strange man give me a (temporary) tattoo while weeping and managing the onslaught of emotions that is betrayal. Well...I can't say that anymore. The Temporary Tattoo Trio was a masterclass in capturing the thrillingly uncomfortable cacophony born from intimate relationships, usually only found at large, extended family gatherings. You could sense the impending jokes before you heard them, and yet they never lost their edge. The four Ts (Tyler, Tyler, Taylor, and Tyler) moved through the space and audience so seamlessly that you would often forget you hadn't known them for years. The best of bits, banter, and a blunt reminder that men will do literally anything but go to therapy.
