A much needed South-Asian Queer Story
It was truly beautiful to witness a South Asian queer story that so thoughtfully explored queer fatherhood and motherhood. In our culture, parenthood is so often portrayed as something reserved only for heterosexual couples—but this story powerfully reminded us that parenthood belongs to anyone who has the love and desire to nurture. Each character was portrayed with such strength and depth, and the performances were nothing short of incredible. The monologue by the father was my absolute favorite scene—it was deeply moving and so beautifully written. Hats off to the dialogue writer for capturing such raw emotion with grace. The cast's comic timing was impeccable, adding lightness without taking away from the emotional weight. Every moment felt authentic. Truly a stunning piece of storytelling.
