FUNS the Musical
The satire in this show is hardly subtle, but in today’s day and age, it doesn’t really need to be. Instead this vibrant cast puts on a very breezy, flippant show that allows you to revel in the absurdity. It doesn’t feel disrespectful to the seriousness of the issue of gun violence so much as it’s disrespectful to the broad societal indifference towards it. Very fun time, even on a late Monday night.

A delightful little comedy
A simple setup executed well by its clever writing and enjoyably screwball performances. If you enjoy the surrealism of a show like The Office or Parks & Rec, you’ll love this. Great job, Big Blue!

Show: The Temporary Tattoo Trio

A Tyler wave of emotion
As always with alleged theatre company, I really didn’t know what to expect. I did expect temporary tattoos, and I did get one, so the expectations I did have were thankfully met, otherwise I’d have given this zero kitties. Definitely recommend seeing if only for the tattoo, but the writing and the performances were also good. Tyler was probably my favorite character. it’s a beautiful story of friendship, betrayal, and the loss of innocence as we navigate through this crazy thing we call “life.”
