I have never been to a improv show involving puppetry but can I say WOW! I must start with the utilization of music to create a true feeling of vignettes, allowing seamless transitions and really feeding into the story. Additionally, The actors bounced off of “yes, and” in a way I haven’t witnessed before. Everyone was so open to choices and nothing felt like dead time or dead zone. Such a great team, great musician, and all around awesome fringe show. 10/5 kitties

The Netflix version needs to take notes because this show was absolutely amazing! The witty improv and quick choices had me laughing the entire time. I appreciated that the show moved at a steady pace while including audience members and really showing the power of authentic, raw, fun and artistic improv. Even though these choices were in the spot, they felt like they were lines memorized for weeks. I really enjoyed the performances of the character Misty and Spaniel ( I think I’ll leave it there) . Must see!

Too Fat to Run is such an amazing example of a powerful one person show. To see Eileen explain a story with such complexity, ups and downs, laughs, and serious moments feels like you are literally being told a story while being throughly entertained by her writing and stage presence. One of her most memorable lines from the show was “no food taste as good as skinny feels”. Eileen discusses body politics in a way I wish more people did. I highly recommend this show if you get a chance
