My timbers? Shivered. My jaw? Agape. The Barbara Barker Center for Dance? Transformed. I could feel each gust of wind and taste the salt in the air. Giggles and guffaws await any who attend!

Speechless
Incredible choreography that was able to shine due to its remarkable dancers, who had such command of their craft and transitioned beautifully between different tones and types of movement. Costumes, lighting, sound, sheets, every aspect of this show came together perfectly and it was inspired! I also deeply appreciated the talk back afterwards, letting us hear from the creators about their process.

I caught a glimpse of True Happiness tonight.
I saw things in this performance that I have never seen before and will likely never see again. I watched a clown and an aerialist set up a full trapeze rig in the middle of an intergenerational tap number. I saw hat tricks, flying tap dance, and a most confounding array of costumes. I saw flaps, slaps, shuffles, scuffles, buffalos and wings like I have never seen, but most of all? I saw joy in its purest form. I felt my soul soar tonight.

I was thoroughly entertained, supremely impressed, and just a little concerned about the physical wellbeing of the cast! All in all a fabulous show, very worth the watch!
