Fun and kitschy
I enjoyed this show! The group was funny and worked well together, and there were some hilarious one-liners. It definitely leaned on stereotypes of Minnesotans, and I do though the group introduced one too many plot elelemnts, which made the story not as clean of a wrap as it could've been. But they definitely have a formula for how they do the show, and it works well! Will check out the group next time I'm in Chicago.

Deeply nuanced, insightful and vulnerable
I enjoyed this show immensely - please go see it! I have followed Gabi's content for several years, and this show was incredibly insightful into who Gabi is outside of her short-form videos. She has a great stage presence, and flipflopped well between funny and personal moments in a way that was fun to watch (warning - I did get teary). The show balanced a wide variety of ideas and tough topics (including sexism, self-objectification, sexual harassment, and trauma) with the common thread being experiences of women, from her family members to herself. But the most interesting to me was her musings on women's history - how so much of it is not recorded compared to men's history, so her way of changing the narrative is by exploring her female family members' stories through their clothing.
