I want MORE!!

I absolutely love a podcast/radio play, and this one is fun. The use of re-enactment characters was really fun, especially when they had to break that “character” to become the character they are for the show (characters within characters if you will?) and the end conversation with Onyx and Ryan really hit home for me. While there were some hitches in the giddyup at times, I think that’s just part of Fringe - you goof up, but it’s okay if you do. It’s already a huge task putting up Fringe shows, and I give props to Lady Z Productions for a fun night of Fringe Theatre! (PS - would love to see another murder mystery solved by The 4 “W”s and the “H” of Murder podcast team! Maybe next Fringe? ;) )

Company: Pat O'Brien
Show: Our Zombie Town
Venue: Mixed Blood

Lots of zombies, lots to love!

As a theatre person who isn’t the biggest Our Town fan (but loves parodies of things) I was excited to see this production! It gave great homage to the original play, while also making it something brand new. Hopefully the Wilder estate doesn’t say anything about it… ;) It’s a must see if you know Our Town and also love the Fringe Festival!

Company: Ethan Nienaber/ GJ Media
Show: What We Wore
Venue: Open Eye Theatre

I want to see this again and again!

As someone who also connects through my family through clothing, this was a Fringe show I’ve been looking forward to seeing, and I was not disappointed at all. I’ve not seen Gabi’s online content, but it was really refreshing to see the other side of social media stardom. Anyone who loves fashion or their family (or… truly everyone regardless of those things) should 1000% see this show.

Company: Sophia R.B. White
Show: White Noises
Venue: Open Eye Theatre

5 Kitties for White Noises!

White Noises was a really fascinating watch - I have never seen a psychological thriller done onstage but this was absolutely fantastic. The performer was a definite triple threat - I almost wish this show could have been done on one of the dance stages, but it may have taken away the intimacy of the performance. Sound design was also incredible. The only downside is that I can’t see the listing of cast and crew to see where y’all came from because this was an AMAZING watch. Bravo!
