Getting there... but needs more time.
Cabin Fever embodies the very spirit of the Fringe—bold experimentation, fresh storytelling, and the thrill of discovering something new. The script is contemporary and compelling, tackling relevant themes with humor and heart. The cast delivers with energy and commitment, and while there were a few opening-night jitters, they felt more like the natural buzz of a premiere than true missteps. With a few more runs under their belt, this ensemble is poised to hit their stride and deliver a truly seamless performance. A special shoutout goes to Buttercream, whose presence is a delightful burst of charisma and comic timing. They elevate every scene they’re in and bring a vibrant spark to the production. Definitely one to watch!

Kinda Amazing
I’ll admit it—I walked into this show as a skeptic. Mind reading? Magic? I’ve seen enough cheesy tricks to be wary. But Steven Nicholas completely shattered my expectations. From the very first moment, he had the audience captivated with his calm confidence and uncanny ability to tap into people’s thoughts. It wasn’t just impressive—it was jaw-dropping. Steven doesn’t rely on flashy gimmicks or over-the-top theatrics. Instead, he builds a genuine connection with the audience, making each moment feel personal and electrifying. His feats of mentalism are so precise and unexpected that you’ll find yourself whispering “How did he do that?” over and over again. And just when you think the reveal is done, he takes it one step further, leaving you stunned. This isn’t just a show—it’s an experience. Whether you’re a fan of magic or a hardened skeptic like I was, “Mind Reader” will leave you amazed, entertained, and maybe even a little bit transformed. I walked in doubtful and walked out a believer. Don’t miss it!
