self-indulgent show for the author in the BEST way
I was excited for this show already but it exceeded my expectations! It was so funny I was nearly in tears and I’ve been begging my friends to go see it since. I desperately wish this was a TV show or video series so I could show it to everyone. Nessa had a great stage presence and was clearly so amped to share her earliest writing with the audience. She was so entertained by the actors reading her own works, it seems like this show must have been a dream come true for her! This is the best thing I’ve seen at fringe this year EASILY

Beautiful work
I thought this was going to be more improv! I figured the actors would be assigned their characters and have to try to get the gist of each scene across because CLEARLY you can’t expect them to have memorized the dialogue for each role. I was wrong, this was really impressive work! The Juliet for Thursday night was fantastic. I felt very compelled by her monologue before drinking the potion!

High Energy & Great Humor
I didn’t realize this would be staged improv! I thought I would be watching a few people play a TTRPG, and was AMPED to see it executed on stage! The NPC cast was amazing and all the actors were hilarious. This is my first ever improvised show, and it was a great one!

Hilarious and Well Executed
Such a funny concept! Introducing the characters slowly as they entered the meeting was a perfect way to get a grasp on each personality before everything was set into motion. The actress for Raegan was so great at being possessed—her screams were crazy!!! I think it was brilliant to basically “double cast” the demon possessing her and have all their lines performed simultaneously.

Show: INSOMNIA DOGS

Beautiful story centered around female friendship!
There was something so wistful about this show as I experienced it. The writing was excellent and so were all the performers. The set was simple yet beautiful, and I adored each character on stage. The pacing of the story was excellent and made me feel sentimental! Just beautiful and VERY deserving of all the praise it’s gotten!
