Wasn’t a Fringe Show

The half kitty is for the earnest hard work of the cast. The length was an unpleasant surprise, Fringe shows, even “independent” should fit the one hour parameter. The volume of sound and amount of flashing lights were headache inducing. The plot was choppy and made harder to follow by the quality of the sound and issues with sung enunciation. I hate to leave a negative review AND feel like 25 dollars was a lot to sink into this one…so heads up if pennys are tight.

Fun show, one through line joke fell flat

The show was delightfully silly and a fun homage to both Jaws and hyper-local newscasts. The only reason I dropped a cat, was the repetition of the Tim Walz joke throughout. It was a fun idea that didn’t land—unlike the Muskie, that one landed!

The perfect mix of Minnesota and HP Lovecraft

Who knew bars and a warm up could foreshadow the advent of Cthulhu?! That scene in Ghostbusters, every time you try to politely leave your parent’s house at the end of a visit, Hitchcock’s Psycho, and a vague moment of wondering if there is a kill room upstairs... Worth it!

Meaningful, relevant, and inspiring without being preachy. Possibly, the best Fringe Show I’ve ever seen—certainly the best post pandemic closings. Well done!!!
