Laughing
If you love to laugh at the funny things humans do (or in my case, things that I have actually done), this show is for you. Stories, full on jokes, and physical comedy that are heartfelt and relatable. For those literary types, great nods to Waiting for Godot, which I hear is coming to the Twin Cities soon.

Food for your imagination
There were so many special parts of this production. It was perfectly matched with the stage at the Southern Theater, which was lighted so that is seemed like a dungeon or a poorly lit factory. In particular, the shine of the elements on the stage was a great contrast with the darkness of the setting. The story was told mostly through hints and foreshadowing, which prompted the audience to fill in the details with their imagination. The style of the play kept changing, which made it surprising and engaging.

I tried to start writing a description of this, but the show is so much more dynamic than words can describe-it is a mashup of dialog from Shakespeare, hilarious costume changes, cheeky winks at the audience, stories, bits of insider Minnesota theater references, and surprisingly relevant pop songs. Not just for Shakespeare lovers.

The inclusion of music from the time brought the storytelling to a new level. The audience started singing along. A piece of Minnesota history that resonates with recent events.
