Wonderful dance from wonderful souls
I don't think I would normally pick a dance show, but the trance-like story of this duo pulled me into their world and let me observe community, struggle, and joy. LOVED.

Jen Scott is a human ukulele
She is fun and wise and smart and honest and unapologetically cringe and cool. She's a ukulele playing a ukulele. Heartfelt, funny and sad, you'll enjoy the refreshing honesty of someone who'll sit with you if you'll let them.

Powerful talent with powerful acommpaniment
Hannah Wydeven is a tour de force who brings other super-talented people along for a fun ride. Check this show out but get your tickets early; the Wed showing was completely full.

What improv can be
This show is fusion of improv, charades, dance, and blockbuster popcorn movie all rolled into one. This cast has either found its format or the format has found the cast. It is so amazing to see such a talented group of people represent the kind of advanced cooperation that is the beating heart of all great improv. More than that, the show struck the perfect balance of guiding me through this (mostly) soundless landscape all while inviting me to imagine alongside them. I loved the mischief between the cast, and it felt like we were all in cahoots. Don't miss this. On a side-note: Holy good lord John Hilson must have sold his soul to some deity in order to be able to create such an ornate and instant(!) soundtrack. You honestly forget that there isn't an orchestra pit somewhere in the theater. Sorcery!

A beautiful message wrapped in a rowdy joke
If this was simply a spoof about an inept community theater company, I would have likely still enjoyed this show. But this was so much more. The show patiently reveals its tender central message, the seemingly-impossible nature of coalition and the miracle of every kindness we hold patiently for the souls within it. Incredible. Kudos to the entire cast for carrying the message through all the way to the very end, for Ross Flores in his portrayal of an absolute dumpster-fire of an actor, along with Phi Hamens Nelson and William H. Sikorski for masterfully shifting our attention from a single hilarious joke to a beautiful story. Well done all around. This "AUDience" member was delighted.
