Swift and hilarious.
As a big fan of rom-coms, I’m quite familiar with all the tropes of a show about dating, but this improv-based concept throws most of that out the window and rides a wave of a uniquely personal path of a courtship based on the prompts of 1 audience member - lucky enough to date a bisexual (Sasseville, in this case.) Improv is not for lightweights, both performing and watching. But this talented cast of 7 performers (including Kade on piano) are pros - and while not every single joke or scene landed, half the fun is just watching these performers create on the fly. When the brough out the info board (info on the audience member/date) you could see all the logistics necessary to tell a good story, and be funny. This group did both at the show I saw, and from what I’ve heard, the previous shows were equally successful. Apparently there were a LOT of improv-based shows this year, but the concept and execution of this show was top notch! Congrats to all involved - highly recommend!
